A start up done at the kitchen table.
Kevin Finn had a problem. He was a contractor who could only work for his client, the local University, for 1000 hours a year.
The problem was that between two departments at the University, Kevin would burn through those 1000 hours by March. It was then that Kevin and his mother sat at the kitchen table to come up with a solution
Kevin had done work for physically and mentally challenged kids in the past and he received a thank you card that read "you are a Wizzard" from one of the children.
The company was born to help with computer education for those who needed help but didn't have the avenues to persue the help they needed. Not only did Wizzard Group work with the University, the company worked with other not for profit organizations to help in training both educators and students alike to the emerging world of computers.
From 1989 to present, Wizzard Enterprises has been involved with a number of projects including building television stations, writing grants, technology plans, working as liason between schools and the FCC, and many other things.

Wizzard Enterprises is now a Sole Proprietorship and a semi-retired business. It does operate as a business incubator for small outlets working to gain footing in the marketplace.
